Your customers have important properties and resources that need protection. With state-of-the-art CHeKT technology, you can offer them the ability to act quickly on critical information that may affect these assets.
CHeKT lets you offer customers a proactive video security system with automated visual and audible deterrence. The CHeKT system, combined with WHIRC’s world-class monitoring, results in a significant reduction in false alarms thanks to its accuracy, and a customer who is far more aware of activity being monitored.
With a CHeKT video control panel, each camera can quickly detect motion or activity and alert the WHIRC monitoring center and your customer, giving each party the ability to quickly dispatch first responders or other needed responses.
CHeKT systems easily integrate with most security cameras. The bridge device in the system seamlessly converts video to monitoring station signals, offering a clear, useful monitoring interface for dispatchers. The CHeKT bridge seamlessly converts video events into monitoring center signals, empowering dispatchers and your customers to take action.
The app provides push notifications for video detection and alerts, offers livestreaming and cloud storage, and lets customers arm and disarm their site from anywhere. It can even be set up to allow multiple users if more than one person needs system access.
In one instance, CHeKT detected people loitering on a property late at night, and within four minutes, law enforcement had been dispatched after the clip was reviewed by both the WHIRC monitoring center and the property manager. This fast response greatly decreases the risk of property damage, improves safety, and demonstrates how professional monitoring and modern technology help your customer protect what matters most.
Proactive video security systems are one of the most effective ways to secure a property and integrating a CHeKT device with WHIRC’s monitoring center allows for the situational awareness needed to effectively, accurately, and quickly deter unwanted activity.

The difference is in the details.
When you make the decision to partner with WHIRC, you’re bringing on board a partner in protection where every detail matters. Case in point: WHIRC’s plan to invest in a new mission-critical generator and HVAC system.
For more than 30 years, WHIRC has been listed as a Central Monitoring Station by Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL). This designation means WHIRC meets and exceeds UL’s exacting standards for quality, safety and training. But for the people of WHIRC, those criteria are just the starting point. When selecting a new back-up generator for the WHIRC headquarters, the team not only needed to identify the precise equipment for hair-trigger response and reliability, but also the contractors to go with it.
“It’s the same intensity of commitment that we give to our dealers,” offered Ashley Raisanen, WHIRC Technology and Dealer Manager. “These are our friends, families, their livelihoods, and we take that extremely serious. We know we are an arm of their business. We are all partners, and not just a vendor to them. When we are looking for vendors, we look for the same level of commitment.”
Attention to detail
The generator’s importance to the mission may be obvious but the selection of a new HVAC system also needed the same specificity because of the customized monitoring solutions offered by WHIRC.
WHIRC’s attention to detail is the difference. The human element in security and fire protection is irreplaceable. Our daily efforts demonstrate how seriously we take our responsibility to help protect lives and property in partnership with our dealers.

WHIRC is proud to offer an advanced visual alarm monitoring solution, powered by CHeKT’s innovative technology, to enhance security for businesses.
How it works
When an alarm is triggered, WHIRC’s monitoring team receives the corresponding video feed through the CHeKT video bridge — no additional logins required. At the same time, the end-user receives a text notification with the video feed. If the event is confirmed as a threat, the end-user can verify it with a click. This verified alert prompts WHIRC’s team to contact emergency services with high-priority, verified dispatch information, helping law enforcement respond quickly to help prevent potential crimes or identify suspects.
Why visual monitoring matters
This approach ensures accurate responses, reduces false alarms, and improves police efficiency, enhancing overall security and aiding criminal apprehension.
Compatibility and integration
The solution is compatible with existing and new security systems, if the cameras meet Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standards. This flexibility allows businesses to upgrade their security infrastructure without overhauling existing systems.

Rockford, Minn. (May 7, 2024) — WH International Response Center (WHIRC) recently renewed the prestigious “TMA Five Diamond Monitoring Center” designation from The Monitoring Association (TMA) for the 21st straight year. WHIRC first earned the “Five Diamond” designation in 2004. It is granted annually to monitoring centers that satisfy all the requirements of the “five points of excellence.” These are:
- Commitment to ongoing job-related education and testing by having 100% of its monitoring center operators certified using the TMA online training series on industry best practices.

- Commitment to random inspections and quality criteria standards by a nationally recognized testing laboratory such as FM Approvals, Intertek/ETL and UL.
- Commitment to raising the industry standards through TMA membership and participation in its activities.
- Commitment to reducing false dispatches.
- Commitment to the highest levels of customer service.
The TMA Five Diamond designation means that WHIRC has demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of responsibility to their businesses and customers through the investment of time, money, and commitment to quality operator training.
Of the nearly 2,700 monitoring centers in the United States that communicate and interact with police, fire, and emergency services agencies, fewer than 200 have achieved the Five Diamond designation, setting WHIRC apart.
